Default Need help LEDing my JDM Smoked Markers

Title says it all. I have done the searches but still cannot find what I need.

I have (in hand) the JDM smoked side markers. I am interested in installing with White LED's in them. Not blinkers, just the driving lights style.

Can someone help me? Where can I get the LED's in white? Do the JDM's need to be cut to get the LED's to shine through? Wiring? What else do I need to know (for the install)?

Your assistance is apreciated! Thanks.

you need LEDs from www.superbrightleds.com or even radioshack might have em, they do, but Im not sure the specifics, but you save the shipping...

anyway, try to get bright but atleast 30degree light output. the website has a 45degree in the white, but its not very bright...

anyway, once you have them you will need a 470ohm resister from radioshack, pack of 5 for 99cents.

then you need grommets from home depot, get em so the LED just barely fits in them, the smallest size they had when I went worked.

then you drill holes behind the 3 "squares" on front, you will have to sand down the ridge on the back.

glue the grommet over the hole, then put the LED in, glue it in, the grommet will give you something solid to glue to.

bend the leads down and solder them, be sure its long to short for all 3, itll only work one way. solder the leads together, and put a resistor at the top.

blah blah blah, why do I bother, here.

skiddazle was way more indepth.
