watch for a clear "glue"....it's the same stuff you would have used, although the applicator will be different (so it's re-useable and more versitile)

Alright I called the insurance and Safelite is coming again friday to replace my windshield. My question is what will happen to the defroster? Are they going to put that back?!

the dots act as a partial sun visor

they are just dots...there is also a black strip that conceals the mirror wire conduit. That may look a bit ugly...so you want to check on the glass they will use, hopefully just like the OEM.

the dots are there to block sunlight if the sun happens to be behind or near the rearview mirror when u are looking at it

also u should be sure they are bringing quality glass and not some wavy pos... i'd rather have a cracked windshield than one of those

I had my windshield replaced today. It's OEM like but the only thing that was missing was the nissan logo. Thanks to Safelite!

Statefarm no longer covers windsheild repairs with no deductable, so when mine cracked I had to pay out of pocked. I had speedyglass do it, and it cost like $175 installed - glass is OEM quality and came out perfect.
