Default My LED Lights aren't as cool anymore??!!

Let me first say that this thread is much to do about nothing..Consider it water cooler talk..mmm-k

I can imagine how some G35 drivers felt when they saw the 06 Zs on the road with the LED tail lights ..The "Exclusivity" they once enjoyed by having those beautiful LEDs has now found itself on other less expensive cars (lol)....Yes, when you pull up behind me you quickly notice the bright beautiful LEDs on my Z car..Now I'm in the club that luxury car drivers (such as Infinity,Cadillac etc.) had to themselves for years ...I bought my 06 Z in part because of the new improvements made by nissan (the newly styled wheels, the increased HP and of course those beautiful LEDs...Were it not for some of the updates, I think I would have waited for the next gen Z...

Well my feeling of "Exclusivity" was shattered once I began to notice just how many new cars have LED lighting..Yes I knew the technology would eventually find its way onto most production cars but damn, let a playa enjoy his LEDs without seeing a friggin mom in her Toyota Rav4 with them ..I don't care about the tricked out cars with them or my fellow Z drivers upgrading to them; I just have a pissy peeve with cars that I think don't deserve them (or need to have them )..The typical buyers of these cars couldn't differentiate between bulbs or LED technology anyway.. And now, we're seeing push button start in family cars such as the Camry and the Altima..(is anything sacred?)

These are some of the cars I've noticed with LED tails thus far.

1..Honda Accord
2..Mercury Milan
3..Toyota Rav4
4..Saturn Aura
5..Hyundai Azerra
6..Nissan Murrano (sp)
7..Camry (hybrid)

So to these cars I say DAMN you! My Z still looks way cooler anyway !!

The Camry's LEDs are quite pathetic. There's only 6 LEDs in each taillight. Our Z LEDS have 20 in each side. I've actually had people behind me shade their eyes at night because of my LEDs.

This is an appalling injustice which must be addressed immediately. I suggest an amendment to the United States Constitution.

Is that a Mercedes? If so, I fully expect premium and luxury cars to have them, I'm just sore about a family sedan having a feature that we (Luxury and Sports car drivers) think we're paying a premium for..

When I heard the next Z could possibly have "push button start" I was thrilled. But then I later realized that most new cars may have that to0 by the time the next Z comes out...

Why buy a Acura TL when you can buy an Altima with a potent V6 Engine,Navi-system, leather, sunroof and push button start?

We were stopped at a light ... LOL yeah, I definitely would not try to slow down my Z with the e-brake. The Lady would have to deal with it, even if she did have cataracts .

Not just the M3 but the 325i/Ci and the 330i/Ci too.

Redmann: There are plenty of expensive cars that don't have LED taillights.

And what's with the bold? lolol.

What you need now is to up the ante and upgrade to HID tails - that'll keep your Z exclusive for a while

You know what I noticed... none of the Porshe's use LED's. I myself am not a big fan of the LED's on the Z. I like the 03-05 tail-lights better. They look better on the G.
