Default a Not So good fiting NISMO look Kit!

well.....got my NISMO look Front bumper and Wing(sides skirts are in route)--and I must say it was packaged very Shitty--the corners we're hanging out of the box and it chipped them--plus it was cracked under the headlight cut out----so heres some pic's of me trying to make it fit---but its not a VEry good fitment @ all---the wing I'll be able to make work,..but this bumper is going back to them and I'm gettin the REAL DEAL NISMO Bumper instead($800)--it will fit perfect!

the Fender sides will not match up @ all...onoe side will but even then theres a big gap sort of that you will see like night and day--Plus a round gap where the hood meets the Bumper by the headlight!

It kinda looks like it fits in th epic,..but believe me--its pretty bad!
I'm not gonna bother w/ it and get the Real deal!
I wonder how the side skirts are gonna fit once they get here?? Anyone know?
BUt the tap is where the crack is(which I would have them fix that no prob)but it has to be sanded to death to make it smooth--and now way can you reconstrust those corners to make them line up or fit right--one hit and they will break!!
So---I must have got a Real Bad kit cuz everyone elses seems ok--or did you have the Body Shop MAKE it Fit?

Hey Collin,
I feel bad about ur nismo kit turning out like this, you are right the packaging isn't the best, there was only padding on the corners of the kit instead of the overall kit. Luckily mines turned out okay, mine front bumper looks very good, but its probably because I have the shop do it for me. I suggest that you take it to the shop first to have it examined and see if its fixable, if so how much. That way you woudlnt; have to deal with all the trouble.

Right...I think they could mek it fit sort or,..but its the corners that will never be fixable---Its hard as hell to construct a Fiberglass egde corner back on the bumper--it wouldn't last but a few seconds while Mounting it--one hit and it would chip right back off--thast what I'm worried about......but I'd rather have it PERFECT as far as the bumper goes--its the best lookin part---I will make the side skirst fit ans wing--that should be no problem but the bumper is key!

How did your sides fit--did you watch them install them or test fit them yourself @ all??
Thats the next hardest thing--the wing will be a since if it dosen't fit perfect!

I didnt watch them fit the kit, but they told me the hardest was the bumper and the side skirt. They had to stretch the side skirt to make it fit, and the front bumper required some modification..I dont know if it originally had a gap between the fender and the bumper. There was a another person on this forum named Chebosto who I think had the same exact problem you had and was able to fix it, you might want to ask him.

im having the same problem. i just finished trying to install the kit, and found out that the front bumper needed some mods, and it also came chipped on the edges. as for the the side skirts, they dont fit well at all. i might just send the skirts back and just keep the rest. the rear skirts are ok except for a little gap at the edge. and as for the wing, well its ok. just a little advice for whoever is planning on purchasing this kit, be aware that it needs alot of work to make it look good, and dont believe them telling you that its a perfect replica/fit... ill post pics of my kit so you guys can critics..

yep,..I had a feeling that the sides will be a pain as well!!

Looks like I'm sending the whole kit back!Wing and all---unless anyone wants to buy the wing from me??!!! I'm sure the wing you can make fit no problem,..but I don't want to have to mess w/ all this ****!!
Looks like INGS+1 half kit here I come!!!--$1291 for the whole half kit is fine w/ me--this way its all lip stuff...not replica bumpers and the like--I'll keep the stock wing w/ just the INGS+1 half kit instead!
Thanx guys!

Trust me, the reason the kits are "warping" is due to the shipping method. Its not like they shipped chipped... the shippers are shipping them with packages sitting on them, etc... and most likely bending the **** out of them.

The LAST thing I trust shipping is an already flexible bodykit.

Sorry for your misfortune... but due to hearing already many GOOD things about this kit... it looks like UPS, FedEX, etc... did you wrong.

I have to disagree---Granted the shipping probably chipped the edges--but its not that bad--they we're actually hangin out of each edge of the box when I went and picked it up!

But even if it was not chipped--the corners don't match the Fenders very well @ all! you can see in my pic's--the fender part is matched up but you see the step change in the 2.
AS well as the the center peice where the headlights/bumper meet the hood--they are round(on the bumper) where the hood is slightly sharper---I understand that it is aftermarket and most does not fit(I been through it all)-or-requires modification--but this one is pretty bad!Not noly do you have to make it fit--the body shop is gonna have to sand the **** out of it anyway--it should come ready to paint(@least my old MUGEN look bumper for my JDM front INtegra was awesome fit and ready to paint)

But I would rather not have to spend so much more money to get the damn thing to fit and fix the problems,...I have to still get it painted!
But I'm stuck on if I should send all the stuff back and get the INGS+1 half kit..or just send the bumper back(depending on how bad the side skirts don't fit)and just buy the $800 REAL NISMO bumper?
I'll get a good idea once the sides get here--that will not be that noticable if I have to make them fit(depending??)

Thanx for everyones comments---but Loutusboy's looks great--and Jabroney;s looks good for some reason--mine is all F*cked up--don't even wanna bother w/ it.

I'll keep ya posted--I'm not even sweatin the wing @ all--I'll get that damn thing to fit if I keep it.
