Default Team Voodoo Shift ****

I just got my new Voodoo shift ****, I had one of these on my turbo miata and loved it. The spun aluminum is an almost perfect match to the fake aluminum interior. The throw is much shorter and is weighted very closely to the stock feel. Here are pics of the stock **** and the new one. All I need to do is make a collar to cover the top of the boot.

What did you do with the area where the boot and the **** match up. I have about 3/8" gap between them. I was thinking about a spacer made from black micarta or G10. Let me know and show some pics.

does it get hot in the sun? The only reason I haven't gotten one is b/c I don't want to burn my hands under the Texas sun.

I have been carrying a rag with to raparound the **** until it cools. So far, a cold **** feels worse than a hot ****, but we also haven't gotten the hot Georgia days yet.

Iv never noticed really, But on the other hand, I take things out of the oven without mitts, Im Gnarled. But I have thought about it and if it gets warm, it cools real fast, like within a minute. The dam thing just feels so good in ur hand---It seems to "fit"
