I was looking to get my old car custom painted and came across this color by PPG called red wine flamboyance. In the shade it looks like a deep deep red almost black, and then in the sun it's a bright red pearl.

it changes color depending on light! The more light there is the brighter and oranger it gets.. the darker it is the closer to crimson it is.
I loved it... @ night it looked maroon in the shadows and in th elight it was gold.

Yep, I think I just made up my mind on the flat black. I keep going back to it for some reason and decided not to fight it anymore lol. Here's the final plan...
Flat black paint with a little bit of Satin in it so it looks like a paint and not a primer.
Wheels and exhaust (yes exhaust) powdercoated gloss black.
Calipers and harnesses stay bright red.
Everything else remains the same.

eh. thats 'drifter' style i guess.
i still think some shade of green would be sick.
maybe if ur bored with flat black, you can do a subdued digital cammo overlay.

In my opinion, a true sports car or race car should be red. If I had money I'd go with a red like Orido's Supra. It looks so hot with carbon fiber panels, a GT wing and chrome or polished wheels.
THIS IS THE BEST CAR EVER!!!

Carbon & red is awesome looking, but it has been done before...many times. And even worse, Steve Mitchell's M-Works 350Z is carbon fiber & red and we do a lot of the same events and I want to do something different. Definately not feeling the chrome/polished wheels though. I am sticking to this theme...
But probably doing a little twist on it. What do you guys think of leaving hints of carbon fiber and doing the decals in gloss black with a chrome outline?
