Veilside 2 full kit ordered!
#23
Congratulatons on making the jump to a body kit. Let us know what the quote is for paint and install. I'm dropping mine off tomorrow (should be done in 3 days!!) and my estimate was $1200. I was really hoping for a better price but this guy does great work and is just about the only one I trust with the job. Another problem I had was not many shops here will touch a body kit. Had one shop tell me that they only do insurance jobs. I'm just curious what the "going rate" for this is.

Just checked this thread and have to laugh a little...thanks Darren for defending me, actually I'm getting my Ph.D. in Biochemistry
about the Veilside kit:
I had no intentions of getting a bodykit for my car. I think the Z has beautiful lines. BUT, if I was going to get a kit, I would want something that stands out. The Veilside 2 was unique and aggressive. I honestly love the curves on the front bumper, and the way it makes the front fenders more pronounced. Like I said, it was a gift from my wife, she loves it and I love it.
My car is in the shop as we speak. It'll be done on Friday, and I will post pics.

While it's obviously not the most popular body kit available for the Z, it's his choice. (Yeah, it's your choice to post your opinions too, as well as images). Why not be cool for a hot second and let the guy produce pics of the kit installed on HIS car? Maybe he has some ideas that haven't been seen before. (I dont' know). There's so much negativity, why not be cool and let him be stoked on his purchase? He hasn't even posted pics of HIS car yet......
Darren (not a big fan of the "to-date" 350z's w/ this kit, but is still hopeful)

oh c'mon, i dont think i was being immature. If he likes it he likes it, no big deal. But there's a reason you dont see many around.
i do however think it would look better on a darker color, in contrast to that UY i posted.
