hey this may seem retarded, but does ur Z's unlock itself when ur door is open and u try to lock it with the button from the driver side console?
cause mines unlocking itself automatically, not sure if this is normal

edit: sorry what i meant to say was "when i try to lock the door WITH the door open(key in ignition), it unlocks itself afterwards
if the key isnt in the ignition, it just locks when i want and unlocks when i want to
