Default Warranty on leather seat

Guys,

Anybody ever got their fixed or replaced? Mine has lines of cracks where the first layer came off(you can see the different shade of leather deep inside).

I still have 2 full years (car has 16k miles). Are those treated as cosmetic or they under warranty?

Thanks,
Tony

CaliTouring,

Mine is frost too. Dam Nissan leather. Previous base Z, I had leather from a shop that looks new after 2 years.

lol i know how you feel. i think the leather nissan used for the 06 models was crappy. i sat in a bmw 328 coupe and the fake leather in that car is better than the real leather in mine. its sad i know.

wow my car is almost 4yrs old and still looks brand new. how much do you guys weigh? is it a weight issue or maybe its a temperature issue. Or just crappy leather. mine looks fine and im about 205lbs.

Not a weight issue as I am only 170lbs. Maybe temperature issue and crappy leather?

Shouldn't be doing that so soon. Do you keep the leather moist?

Exposure to sunlight?
Cleaned and conditioned regularly? (sweat is bad for leather. regular cleaning and conditioning is required)

Leather is moist as can be.

Maybe the cow has a weak spot? Since its a convertible, might be the sunlight effect. The other seat looks fine.

I own an interior repair company just take it to the dealership and have someone re-dye it for you, it should be no more than $55 to just re dye it, but sometimes you have to leather fill it and it gonna be a little more expensive but not by much. I own the franchise here in dallas, do a search on Creativecolorsintl.com to see if theres one near you.

And just so you know most of the sports cars out there do that, you'll be amazed of how many ferraris, beameers and benzos i've done, its just our fat asses rubbing at the seat getting in and out all the time

P.S: To clean it use a mild soap soplution and water and only condition it every 6 months, WHATEVER YOU DO NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER use armor all anywere in the inside of your car, that is the worst thing that you can do.
