Default Hood Latch Thingy

You guys have any idea what this is and what it's used for. Looks like some type of fuse holder on the hood latch.

not sure what that latch thingy is but im leaning towards it being more of a mabobber then a thingy.

It's the temperature sensor for the outside temperature display.

Strange they would place that there, Thanks. I thought it might have been something to do with the alarm, but then again I really don't know what the factory alarm does...I know it doesnt detect hood tampering.

It's there so the Japanese guy that built your car could reach it and connect it.

DO NOT MOVE. That is the front airbag collision sensor

The yellow connector should have be a dead give away...
