No thanks, I've had my Z since late 02 , no plans on selling it. The reson im asking is I've got a widebody on it and thinking of re-doing the fuel filler setup

 

i think the brand is cobra? and they have a replacement oem door but it's polished? a few people on here have them, some have painted them black, some have powdercoated them so they look like the door handles.

cobra door fuel will not fit. Already try on my widebody. Need to get Hummer gas cap and modified it to fit with your widebody.

i'm getting the impression that this website is just overflowing with trolls...seriously, who CARES that he wants to put a billet fuel door on it? its not yours, its not even parked next to yours. Personally, i wouldn't do the fuel door, but if he wants to, why even waste the breath (or finger dexterity) on putting people down that want to explore possibilities that they find appealing. In most cases people aren't asking "hey i'm thinking of installing 10 inch exhaust pipes, take a look, what do you think?"... and in this particular thread, i certainly didn't hear him asking what everyone thought of this particular mod, or asking for sponsors...

am i the only one that gets tired of reading this crap?

mastergrade used to do a relocated fuel door to the rear side window. Not the greatest shot of it, but atleast it shows it

Here is a photo of one I took last year at a meet, shows the fuel door in the rear quarter glass as well .
