You'll hardly see it. And, no, it's not gonna hurt your car either. That's a bunch of crap...

Only time I see mine, is when my car is dirty. Other than that, you won't even know it's there.

anyone have any close up pics of clear bra applied, indicating when you can and can't see it?

from what i hear, there are 2 ways to get the clear bra done...spray on, and the adhesive...i'd like to hear more from the people that have a clear bra on their Z

Here's a pic of it on my car. Don't mind the damage. That's getting fixed. But this is the only pic of the front, after the bra was put on. Hadn't washed in about 6 weeks. Look at the front-half of the hood, the bra is visible there. Almost looks like the front-half of the hood is faded. You should be able to see a line going across the middle of the hood. The front have looks much lighter? also the front bumper, and the finders are covered too. Mirrors also, but you can't tell from this angle.

I wish I would have put the clearbra on when I bought. Consequently, I can tell you what it will look like without the bra, absolute $&*%. I have rock chips, and don't think it's because I drive behind semi's etc.. In fact, I don't even take my car out until the roads are clear in the spring... At some point I'll be getting the front end re-sprayed, and ABSOLUTELY WILL get the clearbra.

You're painting the clear bra? Not sure if that's as good as the 3M clear bra film that's usually installed on high-end cars, which is what I have on my Z. I had it installed on my hood, bumper, headlights, fender, side mirrors, and door edges. You can't even tell it's there, except for the hood where you can slightly see a line going across. The clear bra has saved me $$$s in repairs from rocks hitting my bumper & hood. It's a great investment.

Can I install a clear-bra if one has never been on my car before, and there are already several rock chips, etc? Or do you have to do it with a clean paint job?
