Default New info on Nismo REPLICAS/BAVARIA/KC AERO

Here's the deal, Bavaria has apparently stopped selling KC Aero's replica kits because of complaints of the quality of them. The quality isn't astoundingly bad, but it's not perfect either. I thought bavaria had left w/ my money because their phone was disconnected for 2 days, but apparently it had something to do w/ the phone company up there. I recently spoke to Quentin and the word is they're working on a new supplier in Taiwan which is molding POLYURETHANE, yes POLYURETHANE (NOT FRP, but REAL POLYURETHANE) NISMO and INGS+1 HALF kits which should be available for sale in the US within the next 2 months!

Default urethane vs. fiberglass

just curious what the difference is between the 2? can someone please explain? and, is urethane more expensive than fiberglass? thanks. FYI, i also saw a post about Nismo bringing in urethane to the US instead of Fiberglass.

WEird..I was told that the NISMO bumper wasn't even Poly--it was fiberglass--probably FRP---But anyway---the stock Z bumper is Poly--most stock bumpers now a days are--some kits that are of good quality are Poly---it just flex's better--it might weigh a tad bit more then Fiberglass?? Not Sure?
But I guess I'll never get my money back for my KC AERO bumper then?? Well....I would still be a little worried about another maker of these kits---It still might not fit...but @least it will flew more.

KC Aero and Bavaria are still BOTH in business, and Bavaria will fulfill all existing orders, but will not be placing any new ones (that's what I was told) because they no longer are going to sell the KC Aero kits (due to fitment issues ...they had customers complain to them and they didn't want to deal with that). So basically Bavaria is now going to different manufacturer in Taiwan and is having polyurethane Nismo and INGS+1 kits made, available in 2 months...

I called and spoke to them I was told only the Replica Ings +1 half kit will be made in urathane. The Nismo will be made in Fiberglass.
