Default Windshield Tint -- Too Dark At Night?

I was planning on getting the front windshield tinted this summer. The tint place I use recommends doing 35%. I thought they would suggest a 50% tint on the front because I assumed 35% on the windshield would be too dark at night.

I know this can be subjective, but can anyone with a tinted windshield at 35% or 50% give me a heads up on how dark it is at night. I would make my own choice but I have not been able to find anyone with a tinted windshield that I can check out at night.

Recommendations are welcome.... FYI - all other windows are currently tinted at 16%.

I have 20% and i don't have any problems...there are tons of street lights though so that could make a difference. I can remember being on some vacant highways in the middle of nowhere before and i think it was a little harder to see but not terrible. I would say that 35% would be no problem.

if you are going to do it go light, is it really worth not being able to see at night because you want your car to look cooler?
