Default Heated cloth seats?

I have an 06 touring. I may consider picking up cloth seats, and swapping out my leathers. Is it possible to take out the heating pads from my leathers and transfer them into cloths? and have everything work just like normal, since the car is already wired for heated seats??
thanks in advance

i have cloth seats for my track edition....it doesn't get cold at all in the winter months...so i think there might be no need for heated cloth seats

The seatback covers are easy to remove. ..
The heatpads are attached but can be removed.
The seat bottoms are held in by several hog rings but fairly easy to remove..
You can get any upholstery shop to replace it for you if you are not comfortable ....

what are the pads attached to? is it completely necessary to remove the covers? also, do the heaters have a seperate harness/connector that plugs into the car aside from the power seat connectors?

The pads are attached to the underside of the leather.
You must remove the covers for access.
There is a separate subharness that connects to the seat harness.
you can get the seat harness separately and use the heater only.
Use the part number off the existing harness.

If you decide to go ahead with swapping out I'm on Long Island also and have cloth in my daytona blue. About 17,000 miles on it. PM me... I'm down to work something out with you.
