i got the for trucks edge gaurd but it seems rather narrow and hard to get over the front edges to wrap around the grill. how did you "open it up" so that it was wide enough to fit over the slats in the grill, or did you just push really hard or am i missing something? thanks

Heat it up with a blow dryer or heat gun. It makes it more pliable. Just don't heat it too much.

I used this from Pep boys. Perfect fit w/ built in adhesive. Just measure, cut & push in to fit.
