Default Window tint???

Well, I wanted to tint my windows this weekend and I was quoted around 200 for 2windows and the hatch at a few auto shops. But, I found window tint rolls at places like pepboys, walmart, autozone for like 20 bucks is there a difference in quality? is it hard to do? what tools would I need? what do you guy suggest I do, go to the shop or do it myself?

It takes a lot of practice. There is a big difference in tint quality. If you do try it, you will be glad to pay the $200. The back window is the hard one.
Good luck

big difference. to have it done right you need to have it done by someone who knows what they are doing and use the proper tint. using that cheap crap from those mentioned stores will not only look like crap, but expect it to not last

1) Yes.
2) Moderately.
3) Exacto knife, dryer, something with a smooth edge?
4) You spent a ton on the Z...might as well get the tint right.

*apologies for a "short response"*

Buy those DIY rolls only if you want the tint to turn purple, bubble, and begin peeling off very quickly.

What did most of you guys get quoted for tint? Mine are already tinted, they're not as dark as I would like though.

I paid 275, but I had them do the driver's and passenger windows as well. I know it's illegal, but it looks sooo damn sweet!
