The replica is 1/4th the price? Is it worth it? Anybody who has the replica how 'is the fitment? BTW anybody have paint matched PPW bumpers? I'm sure it doesnt come out to perfect.

the replica I bought from quan fit amazing. When I get the thing back I'll post pics. It has the markings so you know where to drill for the canards as well.

OEM and Authentic are not synonymous. OEM refers to original equipment that came from the manufacturer. Even though NISMO is the aftermarket division of Nissan it is still AFTERMARKET.

As for which one, it all depends on your budget. Beprepared to deal with the headaches that come w/ replicas cause it is hit or miss. Some fit great, most require extra work. Good luck.

I'm a fan of the OG. No replicas. I'm on my second genuine V2.

yea...u're working with 2 totally different prices. if you have a grand to buy authentic, then go for it. if u daily drive the car, are you ready to take the pain if something bad happens to it? u never know what can wind up on the road these days.

if u need a v.2 i'll hook u up on a replica that i guarentee fitment.

too bad no one wants my nismo v.2 bumper that i have at the shop. ive put it on twice and no takers. the price is the biggest problem with nismo, but you get what you pay for.

I would love the real deal, but then I would never drive my car. I'd be afriad of breaking $1k front bumper or wrecking $1k sideskirts.

It'll be replica for me when I get it. As far as replicas go, most of the ones produced for 350z guys I haven't heard of any fitment issues.

I just found a V.2. on ebay for 360 shipped. they claim it fits perfectly and it does seem to be good quality.

fitment from quan's is pretty good, but that shine piece looks marginally better...

I would never buy the authentic fiberglass V2. I am 99% sure the bumper is going to be messed up within the first year and will not throw 1100+ away just to say it's real when the replicas fit well.
