Default 2006 Enthusiast seat ?

Hey all,

I'm about to purchase an '06 Enthusiast but have never actually seen or felt what the seat material is like. I've read that they changed the material used on the seats for the '06. Does anyone have any personal experience they could share with me? How do they feel? Do they still feel kind of cheap? Any info would help.

Cheers,

Geoff

they fill excellent went on a 6hr drive non-stop no problem, my buddy is 6-3 and rode with me and he didnt have any problems at all. The only complaint i have with them is that my car has 8000 miles and the seat already shows signs of wear, when you slide in the car, i dont know if thats from my uniforms or what not but thats my only complaint.

Dosnt leather Conditioner prevent it from cracking though? Or atleast keep it from showing the creases?

Mine are cloth. They look great and are comfortable. I personally did not want black leather.

Default Need to clarify a wee bit

Thanks for the replies. I'm more concerned on the quality of the fabric as opposed to how comfortable the seats are. I'm sure the seats are comfy but, what I want to know is if they'll last. I've seen all sorts of pictures of '03,'04and even a couple of '05s whose seats look like they might need a re-upholstering. Has the change in seating material addressed this?

Thanks,

G.

it really depends on alot of things. Im sure theres alot that factors in. I have found that conditioning your leather every once in a while prevents bad cracking. I dont think theres much you can do about the creasing though. But dont take my word for it im no expert

Default I'm not talking about leather seats....

I believe in my post I asked about the 2006 cloth seats. I'm looking for some real world experience about how the cloth feels and how substantial it is. Thanks.

The black fabric seats on my '06 are more comfortable than most stock seats in the market. Last year, I drove four hours to a track, drove all day at the track, and then drove back home another four hours. After a stressful day of driving, my back felt fine. To keep my seats looking like new, I bought a black cheap seat cover to keep the stains off & wear/tear down.
