Help build my 350z with body kit, paint, rim suggestions? please?
Need suggestions! I am about to invest alot of money into the look of my new 350z. I bought it at an insurance auction as a theft vehicle. It had been completely stripped of the entire exterior; fenders, bumpers, hood and rims. Rather than putting this 350z back together in a stock look, I'm curious too see what you all would suggest for rims, paint configurations, and body kit. I also want to put a lambo door kit on this Z. what do you think? If I do it, which lambo door kit should I use? I heard junk about some, and good things about others.
I was looking at the Havoc body kit from Ibherdesign becuase it looks incredibly aggressive. But I did a search in my350z's threads and it seems alot of you disagree with that body kit as it "takes away from the Z's lines". Anyone out there bought the kit and want to share comments or suggestions about it? anyone suggest a different sweetass aggressive in appearance body kit?

First of all dont put the lambo doors its pointless and they cause many problems in the future doesnt matter what company you buy it from. Also do what you think is nice to your car, dont look at other people's opinion because every person has there own and if you listen to others then you wont get anywhere trust me on that and wont like your car becuase its not what you made it's what everyone else you listened to made.

No aftermarket Lambo door kit I have EVER seen fits right, so I wouldn't bother. The fad is going out of style anyway.
If you're going to design a car and completely cusomize the exterior, you really need to get a basis for your design first and go from there. For instance, do you want to do a more VIP design? or a drift design? Or maybe even a race/track design? Simple and clean or racey and edgy looking? This will narrow things down much better for you and you'll end up with something that also has purpose rather than just aesthetics and will most likely flow very well. Get the basis and blend the components together to meet your purpose. Different strokes for different folks, but for intance mixing a lightweight track wheel with a bodykit that has no aerodynamic benefits just seems pointless to me. Also, some body kits look better with certain wheels and visa versa.
And the suggestion DJShan had is a completely different design than what you may like. Thats more simple and clean than what you had in mind I think. But it would still look good IMO.

If you're going for show, I would vote for the Veilside Version 3 kit w/Overfenders. And if this is not your daily driver, you could go with lambo doors. But if it is your dd, definitely skip it. It's a hassle to get in and out of the car with it.

great suggestions
I looked at the body kits everyone mentioned so far. I definitly want to go wide body in a kit, an aggressive stance, not sure what the VIP look is all about but I might be leaning in that direction. Any color suggestions? solid or otherwise? Need rims also, been looking at VOLK.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Gotta love the Powerhouse Amuse bodykit
I also love the widebody Do Luck body kit
http://www.intensepower.com/doaebokit35.html
I am not a big fan of 2 tone so I would say go with a solid color like the dark lambo blue.
If you are going for more of a "show" look I would say the Gram Lights 57pro with titan coating. If it's more of a track car then volk ce28's time attacks are really nice and lightweight.

Yeah bro. That Do-Luck kit with the blister fenders is sick. I was looking at that kit when I first bought my Z.

Airwalker kit, nice!
As Borat would say "very nice!"
That airwalker kit with the eyelids looks sharp. I'll look into it.
I bought the car from an Ebay guy actually, for about 10k. He is a junkyard dealer and bought it from an insurance auction since he has a license for it. If you want to look up a Z. type in "salvage 350z" on ebay. There are a few out there right now.
Thanks!
