Thumbs up 07 Roadster with aftermarket Burnt Orange Interior

Tim's Auto Upholstery in Duluth, GA did my interior. I will be doing my steering wheel and the sun visors later. The steering wheel needs to be out for a week and the sun visors are getting some other mods so I am waiting until that is done.

Leather seat covers and a full hide from:
http://www.leatherseats.com

What do you think? The seat covers have been in a box for over a year so they will need some time to tighten up and unwrinkle.

the sun wont shrink it the amount that it needs, I go back after a month and have them add stuffing under the covers to fill them up

Really liking this look for my SB roadster - black leather is too hot. Any issues with these covers and side airbags - did the upholsterer have to do any custom stitching? What did they charge to put them on?

Thanks for posting the pics - looks great ! ! !

I'm confused, why didn't you just get the orange seats from the dealership instead of the black and then swapping them out? Is it the material? Are these better? IMO the covers that you took off and selling are not too shabby.

+1 looks good, but doesn't seem tight enough. You should have had Buju do it...

Sorry for the delayed response.

You can not get the orange seats with nav. Real bummer. I had the seat covers and hide from my last car since it got totaled before I could complete the interior.

The car is no longer black as of this morning. You can buy the seat covers from leatherseats.com with the side impact airbags. They just had to install the covers no custom work on that.

Once I am done with the work on the car, I am going to go back to get the seats fixed. basically they need to add some padding. My wife picked up the car so I did not see it until it got home and we pulled the motor three days later so it could go to the body shop.

Bring those seats back. They did a shtty job on the install. The sun and time won't fix that. They need to remove the seats, install it tighter and maybe add padding as needed.

I thought this has to be total BS. I checked your right. No Nav w/ventilated burnt orange seats in the roadster. That's a tough choice to make those vented seats are hot.

IDK. You can get regular leather w/nav just not ventilated BO leather.

Better off buying a European version than getting it done yourself. The job is cheaper and better. Of course I don't think you can get the whole wheel done.

I don't know if they have a site I will check.
