My paint is original and I sometimes think I can tell a difference between the bumpers and hood/ fenders, depending on the light.

well some places take a camera shot....that plus the code is pretty accurate if a vin isnt able to be used due to it being a 1996 or lower year.....using all 3 should always be dead on.....theres no playing around with gun pressure....its all about coats applied......for my car we used 3 coats base coat.....5 coats midcoat and it came out perfect


and with the original paint looking different.....thats due to them being painted differently in the factory.......the body is painted seperately from the bumpers and other add ons and the tints usually arent the same in one part of the factory from the other.....just because there mixed in a large quantity and some tints are added differently than others,......on mine i can tell the bumper is a little yellower than the car.....but look at any white car made by and manufacturer and youll see the same 9/10 times......yellows included.....especially on mustangs and tiburons......look at the side scoops.

i went out and bought some PPG today...ill let you know how the test panel compares to the car tomorrow.

i would pull the gas door off and take to paint shop with me. Most paint dealers have the cam so they can match the color 100%. i rec a croma base paint.

even the gas door can be a little yellower since its another bolt on....its plastic and doesnt get painted with the body
