Custom rear hatch emblem.
Guys…I searched and I am kind of annoyed with myself because I know I have seen at least one of these out there. I was considering adding the fairlady Z badge but I was thinking about trying to add a custom rear hatch emblem where the 350z is usually placed.
I believe the members name (or the badge read) AzulaZ (or something close). I am looking to add a complete custom emblem such as this but obviously with my own specific lettering.
Does anyone fabricate or know of a place that does such work? Would be great if something like this could simply be ordered but I have had no luck as of yet.
As well, think I think I finally settled on this as the front and rear replacements. Thoughts? My Z is SS and I think the contrast would be nice.

this thread. I got sidetracked with work & other mods but I am still looking for a person or place that can create a custom rear hatch emblem in the same style as the typical 350z/fairlady ones
I have a question in the same vein... but.. more ignorant on my part.
whats the best way to get the Nissan badge off the back hatch, or the front for that matter (2004 Z)?
I've read about the hair dryer method however I've been told by friends that the point in which the emblem glue melts is going to be roughly the same that the paint melts as well... and I'm really afraid of messing up my paint.
I've also been told about using a razor blade and well that sounds even more likely to **** up my paint.
got some better suggestions or at least some way to guide my ignorance in these other 2 methods?

Just go slow, heat it up and start gradually working if off. You will be surprised out it just pops off with ease. Most likely the reason why they can be stolen so easily as well. lol
Edit: You're going to have a lot of left over "goo" so get some type of liquid remover. Goo-b-gone or something along those lines will remove any excess with a damp rag.

Here is what my rear hatch will be sporting when my setup is done.

I got it from Thomas @ www.think3d.biz , be forewarned this was not a cheap item at all. Especially if it is something he has never done it will easily run you a few hundred dollars.
