They don't have a lower bracket, just the ball screw for the bottom.

If you look closely the CTD dampers that I have actually have a seperate lower mounting bracket that gets attached to the car first. Then the lower portion of the damper is attached to the bracket. It sounds like the Tein has a screw with a ball on it that mounts to the car. I assume the damper then connects to the ball.

so Matt where did you get the bracket to mod the teins to that other location ?

No bracket is needed. Straight bolt on.
