I've seen a pic around. It looks like @ss, IMO. On an black Z, keep 'em red or smoke 'em.

most people on the forum don't like them, but I think they look good on a SB 'Z, especially if you clear the front markers -- makes everything consistent

here's mine (bad quality pic, but it's all I have right now):

I dont like the red strip in the JDM lights. Now if they were all clear, thats a diff story.

thanks a ton jason - and thanks for the picture of your roadster blaukal.

man, i really don't like that contrast. Its a bit much for me. I'm wondering about maybe painting the chrome pieces black to match my SB or even going black pearl finish on the chrome. Perhaps i should just get the USDM LED tails. Not sure i wanna sink $450 and have the tails come out and not even like them myself.

you could try tinting the JDMs, take some of the "shine" off of them -- I don't think anyone's done that and posted on here yet -- you could be a trendsetter.

Did you mean painting the entire housing? I've always wondered how that would look. You would be a pioneer for sure!

Hey, if you end up doing it and not liking it, the good news is that there's so many members here, someone else is bound to like it.

It looks ok on that SB. I wouldn't do them to my Z though.
