Smile Gruppe S wing Fantastic!!!

Just got my nismo style wing from Gruppe S. Let me tell you, coming from the bavaria style nismo wing that this one kicks ***. Perfect fitting out of the box. Well prepped and comes with a mounting kit. This is the quality I would be expecting from the real nismo minus about 450 bucks. If you are considering a nismo wing, call Gruppe S, great products and fantastic shipping. Cheers, Redgrant.

Got my Gruppe-S replica nismo spoiler last week. Getting it painted and installed tomorrow. I'm getting it painted and installed at a highly reputable body shop. The guy inspected the spoiler and said it was very high quality and needed very little prep work. Can't wait till it's on. Gonna be without the car for two days

Gruppe S sells Nismo and replica Nismo wings. The replica wing is of very good quality and could not concieve of spending extra on the real deal.

That's actually what I was told as well.. Well more correctly, from KC Aero since Bavaria gets their body products from KC as well..

They sell the original for 755.00 free shipping and the replica for 299.00 free shipping. For some reason the replica isn't listed on the actual 350z page. Scroll down on the home page and you'll find it. www.gruppe-s.com

ok heres the deal, Gruppe S has both the copy and the real thing. NOTE: The copy is not the same as the Bavaria one. I bought the one from Bavaria and it was realy bad so I returned it an got one from Gruppe S. The Gruppe S wing was already primed and ready to paint. No need for prepping. It even came with a mounting kit which Bavarias did not. Also there are only four screws in the Gruppe s wing compared to six in the Bavaria wing. If you are considering a nismo copy, go with the Gruppe S you will not regret it. I will post pics when I can get a digital camera. Cheers RED.

Another picture.
One note, this is the Gruppe-S replica. Fitment was nice, however, after it was painted and installed, a hairline crack in the fiberglass showed up. It's nothing terrible, there's no load on it so it shouldn't get worse. To fix it and make it "perfect", the fiberglass would have to be repaired and then repainted. About 200.00 according to the bodyshop. I decided I can live with it. The crack is just below the upper wing on the right support. You can't see it in the pictures and you have to get about 6" away and look for it to see it.

Thumbs up

Sorry to hear about the crack, but it looks great, thackattk. Did you have any difficulty with the body shop matching the paint exactly? Was it just a matter of giving them the trim color that's marked under the hood?

Hi guys,

I'm glad everyone is happy with their replica NISMO wings. I just wanted to point out one thing. Our replica wings are not the same as the bavaria ones, they are from a different manufacturer. Just a clarification

thackattk--I'm sorry to here about the crack in the wing. I wish we could send a new one out to you but unfortunately the product has been used. Had you inspected it beforehand we would have gladly sent you a new one, our apologies.
On the other hand, to anyone else looking to order the wing please inspect it upon arrival. Sometimes shipping companies mistreat the packages and goods get damaged. If this is the case, please give us a call and we'll provide a new one to you considering the product is unused.

Thanks again
Mike
