Default Bavaria Replica Wing, Yes or No.

Not to thrilled with this replica wing. Wondering what others are doing. I'm really considering sending it back, but it looks like $100 worth of shipping.

Default Definately!!!

I ordered mine. It should be here Wed the 30th. i ordered directly from KCaero.com They did some modification to the 1st gen (i.e. longer screws and check for fitment before shipping). Look, compared to the original NISMO, you're saving 3 to 4 hundred bucks painted, compared to 790$ before paint from NISMO. Even if there's a slight problem, like "the tip rattles" or the surface is not smooth, etc.... well the original one is also like this. you will have to come up with your own remedies for these monor obsticles. for example, put a small piece of black foam between the tip of the wing and the body. Rattling will stop. If the surface is not sanded eough to your liking, well, grab yourself a 1000 grid sand paper and wet sand it before taking to a body shop, or ahve the shop do it for you. A handful of people said that it did not fit properly. If you follow the instruction, you won't have this problem. For example, there are 4 screws to screw. But you have to tighten the 2 front ones before the rear 2 screws. This will align properly and no gaps.
My conclusion is I'm willing to do minor adjustments and save 500 buck for nismo with paint, not including installation.
If you have the bucks, then get the nismo original. If your like me, get it from KCaero. Look at it this way. if a bonehead rear ends your car, guess what... yourinsurance is not going to pay the replacement of 900bucks + for NISMO origial. I rather spend 400 shipped and enjoy 500 + bucks for my exhaust system.
Anyways, this my take on this.
IF ANY OF YOU GUYS WANT TO BUY KCAERO wing, call them and tell Mike or the owner Richard in Dallas Sent you. They will give you a great deal.. and NO i'm not getting speical favors from them by posting my thought on this wing business.....

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY DRIVING!!!!!!

kc made them for bavaria. they don't work together anymore. bavaria sucks....eric and guentin and nate are all jackasses. mike at kcaero is a great guy. very honest, very nice....and he's great to work for. if you are gonna buy...mention my name...he might give you a discount! i've worked with both of the companies....bavaria sucks....kcaero is better.

KCAERO has been a bit slow though I have heard. Spotty customer service, although if you talk to carl he'll treat you like a King.

yeah, they have been super busy lately. it's harder for mike to get back to everyone. but, yeah, sometimes it does take a little longer than i'd like for him to get back to me.
