Unhappy Help I Can't Open My Trunk!!!!

So I was rushing the other night to remove my car cover and threw it in the trunk. Well a piece of the car cover got stuck in the locking mechanism so now I can't get the trunk to open.
I crawled in the back and tried to pull off the piece tha is stuck but it's not moving. What should I do, anyone have any ideas????

Try using the emergency release cable under the strut bar, it might give you a little more leverage on the latch.

lol good thing you got it out. otherwise it woulda been like not having a trunk ... although the Z basically has NO trunk -____- we need more room back there.

I had my car for two years before I found this. The manual shows it in the storage box behind the passenger seat. Never crossed my mind to ask when I was talking to others. Now I have a harness bar in which I can't reach it now.
