Kinda Neat, A Gear Shift **** that Tells you what gear your in and when to shift..
Saw this on the Sci-Fi Wire this morning, Looks kinda cool.. Not for everyone, but neat none the less;

Besides being the most radical-looking shift **** on the planet, the Gaslock Indy Cater has an energy-saving function. It tells you the exact point to shift to save gas, and if you follow its timely shifting tips, you can end up spending 15% less on fuel. the item isn't for me, but...for those saying your hand is over it, some shift sidehand, and some shift overhand. And, if you did happen to look down at the shifter, reading the LED is gonna be faster for your brain to process than trying to figure out if its in 1st, 3rd, 5th or 2nd, 4th, 6th. Personally, i know what gear i'm in based on speed/rev anyway, no need to look at the shifter. This is a pretty nice shifter if you have passengers that you wanna impress with how much technology is in your car. That being said, its not for me.
