Default Removing airbag warning stickers?

I posted this in gen discussion with little response (of any relevance). I know SOMEONE has investigated or actually removed the airbag warning stickers on the visors.

Can it be done?
Have you done it?
How did you do it?

Thanks!

Not a single person out of 41 views has considered removing these hideous stickers?

pulled mine off day one - left a white line of glue but it looks a hell of a lot better. just pulled it off SLOWLY . now my problem is the dealer is going to order me a new visor because of the bulb rattle and I am going to have to do it (remove the LARGE yellow sticker) again. Hope I have as much luck as the first time.

The problem with all those recommendations on the VW forums is that their sticker is nothing but glue. The Z version looks like the perimeter has been melted/iron onto the fabric mesh.
