How do i Clean off that Gooey stuff?
anybody in here shave the "350z" off in the back?...or any emblem at all ....
..if i take it off...how will i completely get rid of that gooey stuff without damaging the paint?
any special tools or washing materials?
i can basically take it off with my hands but im just concerened about making that portion of the paint look flush with the rest of the car.

Pick up some citrus solvent remover that's what I used and it work beautifully. It's the real concentrated citrus remover squirt a little on a towel and just rub it in it will come right off then use a wet towel to clean off the solvent, you just don't want to leave that citrus on for two long.

It's called De- solv- it put out by citrus solutions, I don't remember where where I purchased it
but there's also goof off which is actually half citrus and half something else but it doesn't work as good as the all citrus one .

Goof Off will strip the paint. VQ Racer is right when he says Goo Gone. It is citrus based. Or like others have said, WD40 works great too.

Are you sure it was goof off (yellow can). When we traded in my moms 5 series, the rims were in rough shape from the brake dust and winters. I tried everything and nothing worked to get them clean. So, I broke out the goof off and it melted the clearcoat on the rim. The dealer didn't see the damage on trade in though and all is good.
