Default Z arrived! Warning sticker question

My Z showed up today after 11 long weeks. By the time all was said an done (paperwork etc) it was getting late and I was having too much fun driving it...and I didn't have time to investigate certain things. And they let me take it without actually paying for it yet (banks were closed).

Question: Can the warning labels on the underside of the visors be removed, or are they pretty much permanent?

Doing a board seartch revealed nothing on this.

Pretty sure that they can't be removed without major modification to the visor... Annoying but Safety First (according to the Lawyers)

Congrats on the new Z, and unfortunately, I don't think those stickers can be removed without messing up the fabric on the visors--which means if you want to get rid of them, aftermarket visors.

I wish they'd put it on the inside where you couldn't see them. Who REALLY needs a vanity mirror anyway?!?!?

UFO,

Congratulations, it looks absolutely beautiful. BTW - what part of the Pacific NW are you in?

If that's the case then why not provide direct link rather than just pointing us to the main page?

sorry I figured there is more good info there than just label removal. I thought everyone here was smart enough to work a website properly. I guess just most of us...

Has anyone done this on the Z? Are you sure ours are the same? Ours look like around the perimeter of the label it is stitched or stamped in somehow, if I remember correctly.

I glanced at it the other day and it seemed ironed on to me, but hey, I did not examine it. I am comfortable with the labels as I am peering out the windsheild the whole time anyways. But it's cool. I never took the ones off my VW either since I don't want to mess anything up. Good luck.

I have not attempted anything yet. These stickers do not look like the type that are just stuck on vinyl. Must do more research. But I'm surprised no one knows for certain whether they can or cannot be taken off.

Just curious, what was your order date? Also did it come in before the date they told you? I'm waiting for mine, i ordered on Feb 6. My delivery date is 5/3. I'm hoping it comes in this week.

Please advise.

Thanks
