My next Mod Idea- Bride Seats and matching door panels
One thing I've hated about the pre-'06 Z's is the $hitty plastic door panels. Once the bride seats come in, I'm going to two-tone the panels. Black leather with bride logo, here's a sample of my plan, the light material will be replaced/upholstered with the bride material.
Here are the seats again, I'll probably do red stitching on the doors to match the seats. The order will be going out by the end of the week. I'm trying to get a hold of this guy so I can try these bad boys out in person.
C/C appreciated.

Nicee...I was thinking about doing the same when my new seats come in. I just gotta find a good upholstery shop to do it. While your at it, the headliner will be a nice place to lay some of the Bride fabric as well...

Not a bad idea, but I think that may be borderline tacky/overdone.

^ no, no no.... that is not my car. If you do a search, the OP did this to his car about 4 years ago. I doubt he's still around. Luckily, he attached these orignal pics as a guide. I'm planning on doing the same thing, but with bride material in the part that's tan.

Now might be the time to pickup a set of the Wicked CAS unfinished door pods and attache them. How are you going to run the lettering in the fabric? At an angle parallel with the top seam?

That should look great. I really like the design and it flows well with the lines of the door panels. I'm having mine re-done (2nd time) this week in black leather and a "touch" of red suede to match new seats.
You should really consider doing the headliner in a darker color. I had mine done and it looks and feels 1000 times better and it doesn't nearly get as dirty as the factory crap.

good idea, as long as it's not the whole door, and you're rocking the seats. An idea though, what if you made the "split" a curve instead of a straight line? The straight line almost seems "unrefined". adding a nice curve along the door would look alot better imo.
something more like the 06 model, or something taht follows the line of the armrest instead. I wish I had the PS skills to get a sample pic....
