I wanted to see how much I should pay for a set of blacked out headlights with a the clear strip? How much would you pay for a set? Thanks

 

you can do that yourself...buy nite shades, tape off what you want black, then professionally clear it...

if you are blacking out the housing you can also do that yourself....

i wouldnt pay over 50 bucks for them personally...i'd just do a DIY on it.

 

Ive cleared out three sets now in the last month.........very easy.

 

yes you can do it yourself...just need to make sure and test the clear on something else..some shelf clears turn white when sprayed on black and some turn white with fine scratches such as washing...

but it can easily be done!!

 

I'll be blacking out my headlights soon and would prefer to clear the reflectors rather than smoking them with night shades. Is there any way to clear the orange ones or do I just need to drop $55 for the clear ones?

 

if you clear the orange ones they will turn a little darker than when you black out over clear plastic.

there is no way to go from orange to clear without buying clear ones...
