i know what you mean man....
again i have seen both good and bad stuff on veilside..

the veilside hood on intense/s Z fitted perfect. I also saw a full veilside v3 kit for a customer there that out the box needed very veyr lil prep work almost literally got painted jsut out the box and fitted great.. also the green G from intense with the widebody set up fitted as good as any other aftermarket kit

but like you I have also heard horror stories

I have the same chargespeed kit but type 2 front and I experienced the same problem only on front bumper. It wasnt that bad actually compared to other aftermarket kit.

Btw, seems like your body shop spent quite a bit of time for prep work, good work!

What you save on an UN-authentic piece you'll pay out having the shop working to have it fit AND look good. Seen lots of wavy product come out what a lot say is a great replica kit shop. It'll require a lot more work than the authentic stuff from what i've seen.

Because if the replica require ALOT of prep to get it right, then the cost on labor would be more or equal to the authentic. You think you're saving money, but you get fcked in the end. Of course there are some bodyshops that will just slap a kit on with little prep work, that is if you dont mind waves/bubbles/fitment issues/etc.
DING DING DING!!! Show that man what he's just won!!!

I'm not saying all authentic stuff is crap, I've just had some experiences where this wasn't the case. Athentic doesn't always = perfect.
Have you worked with ASM's stuff? You could probably throw their name along side NISMO's in your list.
