Anyone ever take off the Z emblem on their steering wheel?

Question Anyone ever take off the Z emblem on their steering wheel?
I need to take mine off. It's the final emblem that I have to convert from GOLD to satin silver or chrome.

I'm just wondering if it's just glued on like the exterior emblems or if there are any tabs holding it down from the b-surface. Cuz that thing is ON there!

did you ever find out how to take it off?

I plan on vinyl wrapping mine.

It's probably just glued on.. but words of warning - you can't buy an OEM replacement separate... it's part of the whole airbag assembly.
