Default 350Z Cubby

This is more so to vent about my broken cubby.

Mine just broke after 5 years of owning the car. I would say that is pretty good especially considering it is a 2004. So it has around 7 years of opening and closing, but I was looking at the design of the door and it is pretty crappy. The whole door is retracted with a notch on each side and a little @$$ screw in the center. Come on!

I searched and found a replacement out there that others have used. Not a big deal but hate spending on tedious things that should have been designed better. Reminds me of the trunk lift on the Scion tC, it had 2 little screws. Everyone knows people usually rip open trunks.

Just Saying

I find the cubby annoying... I always seem to pop it open with my elbow when I am shifting.

Yes, the cubby above the radio was what I am referring to. I agree with the heater button and even the hazards. I think they realized that with the 2006 model which is why they redesigned it. We all know that's what happen when you buy the initial production of anything, you suffer from the mistakes lol.
