Default Strut Bar Noises!!!?!?!

I brought my car to the dealer for some work to be done on it and when I picked it up and drove away, the rear strut bar was squeaking and making noises! When I stopped and opened the trunk, it felt loose ( i could move it just a little bit)

My question is....Is the oem rear strut bar supposed to be rock solid or a bit loose?

Because I think the dealer dismantled it for some reason

I assume you're talking about the black plastic cover over the rear strut bar, not the actual strut bar itself, right?

The cover does have a little play in it but it shouldn't move very much. They probably didn't re-install it right and it's not tightly mounted anymore.

lol^^^^^^^^^^^^

I guess I'' go to the dealer and have them tighten the plastic covering. Do you think they will charge for that?

They shouldn't charge for it if they're the ones responsible for making it loose. You didn't say in your first post what they were working on. If it was the engine, then there's not much chance you can blame the loose strut bar cover on that.
