Default personal grinta suede steering wheel

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if my only options to make this wheel fit are the "splash" hub or momo w/adaptor ring? do i have any other options? The splash hub is kinda expensive.Anybody know a good place that sells nardi hubs?thanks and flame away if this has been asked before.I searched and only found old FS threads.

Dude, DO NOT BUY MOMO HUBS FOR 350Z. I had it on my previous Z and it was aweful. It didn't fit so I had to dremel most of the metal away. If you want a perfect hub that fits without a doubt, buy the works hubs. They are affordable. Contact Aspec products at 626-618-1100 thats where i got mine.

hey thanks for the info.I did not want to spend $160+ for a hub but now I am glad I asked, lol!

yes it does serve a purpose. For some of us, our Z is a daily driver and a weekend track car, IE:drift, autox, ect. So for us it is actually safer to run a racing steering wheel to prevent getting our neck brocken from an airbag , lol. Also, I sit so close to the steering wheel that it cannot be safe to have that airback right by my face like that.excuse my typing, as I am drunk ,lol.

Thanks.

Yes I completely agree with you, the stock wheel is very dangerous IMHO. I hated the fact that something was so close in front of me that might potentially break my face. Kinda made me uneasy. Aftermarket steering wheels are lighter, easier to grip, plus if you have a quick release hub they are much easier to remove.

I got it for 110 plus tax. The short hub is 160 I think, and the quick release works go for like 290.

Post pics once you get it.

for the wheel:suede will wear out faster (but feels great with racing gloves)..... i recommend the leather ones. if you have stock seats, the 350mm is good.. racing seats i'd suggest either a 340 or 330mm

splash ftw.. my friend has the momo one with his momo wheel and even then it had fitment issues..

i'm installing my wb hub and qr next week

the momo hub barely fits....its a piece of junk

we have both short and long Splash hubs in stock...and it's the only one made that includes the bypass for the airbag light. Listed on our site here:

http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...or&prodid=1264

We also carry the full line of Nardi and Personal Wheels. Be forewarned....you are looking at a very very long backorder on the Suede grinta right now

The works hub fits perfecly and also has the airbag resistor included, but it only comes with one so you would need to purchase a second one to make it work.
