Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting the CF Vertex spoiler, and wanted a CF B-pillar cover to match. Does anyone know what weave of all the parts I listed (Vertex CF spoiler, Nismo B-Pillar, Varis Pillar)?

neither one will, since they really are not genuine carbon pieces, but overlays

but who cares...its not like they will set up next to each other

fitmnet on the NISMO is far better than the Varis

 

I have the Nismo b-pillar and they're 1x1 weave. I have no clue about the others.

 

I believe the vertex spoiler is 2x2 weave.

 

Sticker? no.

Its a thin layer of carbon weave layed on top of a fiberglass underskeleton. There's isn't much weight savings, but its surely NOT a sticker.

i know someone here has the CF vertex spoiler...i just cant seem to remember who. Or the weave on the CF Vertex lip..I assume the lip and weave would use the same weave.

It is real CF you noob! Just not entirely made of CF, It has to have that under skeleton of FRP. Do you realize how light CF is?

And yes it is a sticker overlay... great fitment. Looks seemless once installed.

 

Mastergrade 2x2 b-pillars- $105 shipped makes them a good alternative.

 

i bought the Varis from Autotecknic on ebay and said it's geniune, when i received it i was a bit disappointed cause it look like 2 CF stickers but you'll be the judge. Anyone bought stuff from them??

I got mine from the guy on eBay. They look great installed, and from the pics I've seen my Varis ones fit at least as well as the Nismo ones. For about $80 shipped, you can't go wrong.

I have an original vertex CF spoiler and the weaver is 1x1(jdm)...not 2x2
As an owner of the spoiler i am pretty sure on this one

i think the nismo varis and the mastergrade cf b-pillar are quality pieces and you wont really go wrong either way.
Its not like a cdm 40$ ebay knockoff

 

I've seen vertex in 1x1 and 2x2.

 

MSA makes nice 1s. That's what I have. They look just like the mastergrade 1s.
