Default **Pics** Paint Job_ New Wheels

I got the car back a little while ago, I just havent had time to post any pics.

The whole car was resprayed OEM Crome Silver, and the top color is a custom blend similar to carbon fiber. Its a black with a bit of brown, and has a fine gold and silver flake to it. The hatch was fully shaved of emblems, wiper and OEM wing. The hood is a Seibon OEM, that I had the paint blended in on. Headlights were blackened also. Enjoy.

Just puttin the new wheels on...

On my way to Performance Factory for Dyno Day...

Shaved Hatch, Custom built HKS 3" Ti Single, full stainless piping...

Hard to see the paint blend that good in this light but its there...

I made 261whp on Jeremy's DynoJet...Non Rev-up...No UTEC, no cams, no puleys, no headers, ALL MOTOR

And thats suppose to mean?!?!?

I chose those offsets because im not going to cut or roll my fenders. I wanted to simply dump it on 18's without rubbing issues.

18's all around....8.5+25 9.5 +30

THE TECH- check out the Nismo Wheel thread....you'll see alot of other Z's with same setup.

Its hard to tell the concavity of the rear wheels in those pictures... that could be what you're talkin about?

Yup, looks like the same old 18" Nismo wheels you can get from Nissan dealers.

I'm going to run those Bronze rims some day.

Spacers maybe?

Car looks great, even though I'm not a big fan of the paint on the front bumper.

awesome paint job.
but how come you didn't shave the front emblem as well?
I think that would make set it off with the flow of the color scheem front to back. but just my opinion.

I wanted the front emblem shaved actually.... the stock bumpers are wayy too flimzy. There is no kind of filler that will hold if anything hapenned or just in general.

Believe it or not, I didnt tell the paint shop to paint the front bumper. When I went to pick it up, it was already done. O well I actually like it better. It helps the blend with the hood and headlights.
