yea it looks like it is a cf print...it is not real cf overlayed onto a piece. there is a company that does that stuff and all it is is a print to look like cf...it doesnt even look that much like 2x2 either.

I wasn't making any of this up if that's what you're saying I would post up the email he sent me but the pricing is on there. I did show JDMFairladyZ33 last night that portion though.

I'll take better pics, I'm pretty sure it's real CF...seen my share and owned CF over the years, it just seems like it's got this special coating on top of it. I'm gonna take it to some other people to see if we can figure out what it is

PS I got a good look at it, it IS carbon fiber UNDERneath too!

Sorry, but the part number on the box is the same for the normal "center panel"

It appears to be a well done overlay, or print.

it could be rolled over the edges because it's a sticker.

+1

If it's on the back too that means more than likely its just a water print. Any special "coating" that you are feeling/seeing is just the clear they put on top.

I went ahead and bought these 2 pieces from Alvin last night and from what I gather it is a sticker with clear coat, very nicely done though, there are some spots underneath that fool you into thinking its real because there is a weave footprint in the ABS plastic on the underside too. IMO looks awesome and will look great in my car.

Have any of you guys ever checked out carbon fibre interior bits done by RSW or ANYS? both Japanese co's with top notch products. My centre console set me back over 700usd. They do quite alot of interior carbon bits for the Z.
Also check out Robson leather who do custom interiors and alot of custom carbon interiors.

Looks like fake cf shot with some clear. It likes like they used the vinyl method using water, thats why the edges are like that. If you want that done alvin I can do it for you like I did my friends center console (350z).

Actual cf wrapped using resin...

All my pieces.

Too bad I didnt take pics of his Z center console.
