Default stereo removal - need to fill the hole

I know this isn't the right forum but i never got a response in the right one.... probably because it's not the most popular modification to make...

so a CD got jammed in the stock head unit... wouldn't play... nor would it come out... so i said to hell with it.... i always wanted to get rid of the stereo system anyway... so I took it out. I have no intentions of replacing it.... and the speakers are coming out next.... but I need a cover to hide the hole where the head unit goes. Does anyone know a company that makes such a thing? A built in clock would be cool too...

i don't believe any company makes a piece to completely cover the hole. it would not have enough demand for a company to justify making it. you could buy one of the dash kits and mold it to completely cover the hole, or get a shop to custom make you a piece. i'd guess the piece would cost $100 or so.

I was actually looking for a solution too. Best thing I came up with was to fiberglass it shut and refinish the console.

You're gonna have to get it custom fabricated.
Fiberglass most likely
