Default Thnking of painting the top...

I have seen some ppl on the form who painted the top black on their PPW Zs. Does anyone have any pics or konws where i can find some pics? I got a PPW Z and thinking of painting the top black.

Do it in carbon fiber. You z guys have overlay's available to do the whole top

I just got an appointment set up today to have this done in a few weeks. The guy did my body kit also. He is pretty good at what he does. I have an silverstone car and going with a gloss black on top. Only $225 bucks. Sort of a return business discount. This is going to turn alot of heads.

I think it would look sick if you did the hatch too. I think i've seen a couple ppl do that before.

whole top on mine is painted, including the hatch. Not black but gunmetal to help the CF blend in. Althoguh I think the black ROOF alone looks hot! Here is a picture of mine:

do it like quan and vinyl the top. that way if u dont like it you can just take it off. It looks the same as painted, but not as glossy.

^ I asked the same thing of the guys that had it done. Aparently, no paint code known; just take it in and ask them to match the black in the top of the rear window and make it as high gloss as possible to give the illusion of tinted glass. Shouldn't cost more than $250 or so.
