Anyone sucessfully match PPW?
I've read a lot of posts that say that PPW is such a hard color to match. I understand why it could be but I'm wondering if anyone has actually had really good results with matching it.
I'm on the verge of either repainting my OE bumper, ordering a aerosync lip for it, or getting a whole new bumper. Either way I'll need to get something painted.
Appreciate the help. Thanks...

We painted couple lip and wings for PPW. Matched perfect.
Just make sure you use correct paint code from Nissan. Do not just use gas cap and ask bodyshop to match it. That will not turn out perfect. Also painting the base is very important!

Thanks to everyone that has responded with information thus far. Your help is very much appreciated on my part.
So to this point what I've learned is:
-have body shop BLEND & MATCH paint, not just use color code
-use overspray for a good mix between panels
Am I missing anything else??

^ Don't take the car if it isn't acceptable. Let them know up front, you won't take the car unless the paint is matched 100%. If they are competent and confident (and have an ego), they will assure you it will be blended perfectly and wil accept the business...

I just want to make sure I relay the proper information to them before the job is done.

I have been pondering this as well. I have chips on my fenders and my bumper looks bad due to construction.
I almost wondered if the dealer would be the best place to go to get the paint done. I want a aeosync bumper, but I might almost go with a lip just cause it might be cheaper to replace concidering it may get wrecked with the crappy roads around here.

I know it was said before but make your intentions clear up front. I've had my fair share of dealing with paint shops who are full of idiots who think they know how to paint cars.
If it doesn't match, make sure you do not take the car and tell them that you would like it redone (DO NOT PAY THEM AGAIN).
Stay clear from the shops full of "homies" I've had nothing but problems haha. It's all about the professional shops who know what they are doing. If you see other classic cars or hotrods, then you are probably found a good shop

had to get a new front bumper my PPW.... my friends dad owned a bodyshop so i took my bumper and front lip to him.... just dropped it off and gave him the paint code and came back later on in the week to pick up my bumper and lip and the paint was a perfect match....
thats what i call a confident shop and some one who knows what the hell they're doing.
