i have had a long and painful day with my ****(see other thread). Now i don't want to mess up anything else so before man handling this stupid thing, can someone tell me the proper way of taking these little gold bolts off? I got some new shift boots but redline goods doesn't tell you in their install. Please someone answer.

i used some really thin pliers and wedged them under the silver pieces and wiggled them out. I think theyre the type of part that is to be replaced after each use, but if your careful and go slow you can reuse them.
