I'm having another shift boot made with thicker red stitching to match the thickness of the wheel and arm rests. New leather seat covers will be in by Z Nationals. And you can't really tell from the pics, but the panels by the door handles are wrapped in suede as well.

OMFG!!! This is the most awesome interior i've ever seen!!!

Your door panels look great!

I’m really interested in seeing your leather seat covers when you get this done.

Subscribing…

Thanks Spike! After seeing how your seats came out, it's kind of pushed me in that direction for mine.

Airkilo that headliner is sweet. where did you get the fabric for it?

Abarclay did they slightly flatten the bottom of your factory wheel or is it just the lighting making it look that way? either way your interior looks fantastic. great job.

Ok, question about the door interior trim panels... I have been going through this thread mostly to see what people have done with the door panels. The one (ok, maybe not the ONE) complaint I have about the Z I have owned for a year is that big, blank, black panel. I have seen a handful of pics here that have a bit just above the arm rest/window controls... I thought it was a model year change, but this one is a 2004, and mine is a 2005, and I lack this thing. What's up?

Ok, that would have been the perfect answer minus the "Really? Lol."

I said in the post that I figured that a year change must be the explanation, but the pic I quoted was a 2004. See where the confusion might come from? I'm expected to know everything about this car? Ask me detailed questions about the Toyota MR2, and I will have the answer, because I was around those cars for 12 years. And if you ever do, I promise I won't treat you like you are an ignorant fool. Sincerely.

Relax pal..

And look at your posts vs mine..the reakity us that your question is VERY uncommon..
If that's all it takes for you to feel "picked on"..the internet may not be the best place for you sir .

Your posts vs mine is exactly the point. You know these things and I don't, and you think I'm a fool for not knowing. Pass along the information and be done. Also don't quote the phrase "picked on" when I did not use the phrase. It's not about how I "feel" about your post, it's about your post. ALSO if the question is as you say "VERY uncommon", why do you reply as if it is common knowledge? AND ALSO!.. Ok, there's no also...

Likewise. Thanks for snarkily answering my original question, I may seek out a set of 2006+ door panels. They seem to address the issue I have with the interior...
