My V1 lip with CF Splitters...whaddya think?
I installed these CF splitters today, what do you think?
JK, I PS'd these on for fun...thinking about it though. Also painted the middle "bar" in SS...pretty poor job of it

I was thinking about doing the same thing to my v1 lol, just asked someone where he got his that look just like that

For some reason the V1 doesn't sit low enough to the ground, that's why I was thinking about adding it.

I did another one, this time no emblem, sized splitters to scale and moved it back a little bit.

splitters are hott!
i think i personally will try to find them in plastic / urethane, i know i will crack those MF'rs in one day if they are cf

the CF pieces we custom cut from a larger CF sheet by a body shop
I bought the sheet from a bulk supplier who sold them on ebay (whose distribution warehouse was actually a "real" shop in Toronto). This was before that proported CF shortage that happened in early '06.
I wouldn't recommend a DIY since:
a) CF is near-impossible to cut with household tools
b) CF shavings are carcinogenic
