Im detecting slight sarcasm. I know it's from the old datsuns and early z but are you speaking tongue in cheek?

Seriously, i can think of 1000 ways to spend $200 other than a piece of plastic that makes the car look cheaper.

looking cheaper. That is a good point. The car definetly doesn't "need" glued on body stuff. I have a friend who owns an 05 mustang with window louvers, looks decent. apologize for not bumping the previous thread.

slight sarcasm? I take offense to that. I was trying for "full on" sarcasm.

I would say no to the louvers. If your gonna put something on the car like that just get Varis or Nismo pillars.

That is a good list of things not to do to any nice car. Ive actually read most of it before. The only thing a search brings up in that thread is someone wishing that louvers make a comeback.

I would estimate that every 10 Z owners you ask about this, 9 will say they absolutely detest it.

That being said, its your car and your money....do you like it? if so, rock it. Just don't be surprised if you get alot of negative comments from those on the boards if/when you post pics (the vultures here can be ruthless!)
