Can I buff out a scuff on the windshield?
While driving to work this morning a truck spit up some stones which crashed into my windshield. The glass didn't break, but one of the stones scuffed the surface, about the size of a pencil eraser. The scuff doesn't feel real deep. Is there a way to buff it out, or are my choices to live with it or get the whole windshield replaced?
Thanks for any suggestions!

Try using Autoglym with a glass polishing pad on a orbital or circular polisher.
I did this to the windshield on my 2000 Ford ranger with good results. It removed minor scuffs and marks but it did not remove deep pits in the glass.
Here is the link for the stuff I used: http://www.properautocare.com/polishglass.html

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give it a try and let you know how it works out! I say all trucks should be removed from the road. No offense to the truckers out there!
